All About Pergolas

Our backyard is one of the most important parts of our home. It is where we relax, entertain, and escape from it all. With our backyards being this important, it is essential to create the perfect environment. The perfect environment can be created with flowers, fountains, statues, and more permanent structures like pergolas. Besides these features, accessories for our pergolas can be just as important.  

Garden Winds realizes how important your pergola is, and we have custom designed accessories just for you, so you can enjoy your pergola even more.   To begin with, we offer a variety of shade canopies for pergolas, which also come in a variety of colors and sizes.  The colors of our shade canopies are Beige Whisper, Cinnabar, Terra Cotta, Sage Green, Green Spruce, and Nutmeg. These colors allow you to mix and match with your current patio furniture or add a pop of color at your next party. 

There are tubular pockets for weight rods and ties that allow you to fasten the canopy down. Similar to our other canopies, our fabric is a 350 denier polyester spun fabric, which is UV protected and water resistant. Furthermore, our canopies meet the CPAI-84 fire retardant specifications. What canopy would not be complete without weight rods?  Here at Garden Winds, we think of our customers first, which is why we offer a set of two weight rods (model LCM1065) for your pergola. This accessory also expands from five feet to nine feet in length to allow you to customize your canopy the way you want.    

In addition to offering shade canopies, we also offer shade fabric. Shade fabric comes in a sheet and adds extra protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays, which allows you to enjoy your canopy during the hottest part of the day.  As each pergola is as unique as your backyard, we offer this item in three different sizes so you are able to find the right shade, the first time.  

Besides shade fabric, another important accessory for your pergola is a sunshade. We offer our side sunshades in 10’ (model CNYY-456) and 12’ (model CNYY-869) models. Now you are able to control the amount of sun that comes through, and reduce discomfort all year long.

After obtaining the canopy or shade fabric, and the side sunshades, the next accessories needed are decorations. Some decorations that can be added are lights, art work, or bird feeders, to name a few.
